Weekly podcast schedule with one in-depth essay published every month.
Dear All: Thank you for the subscriptions and frequent visits to the site. Subscribers receive an email notification when a new essay is published; however, no email notification is issued when a new podcast episode is published. Hence this note.

Podcasts: 17 podcast episodes are now available. Each is episode is 3-5 minutes in length, and focused on one subject or theme. Specials are about 20 minutes each, with just one long episode (53 mins). I aim to publish an episode every Wednesday. Further information, and links to major distributors of podcasts, are at the Podcast page. The full list of episodes, current through Wed., 28 October 2026, are at: “Perspectives: Iran Past and Present”
Podcast in China: I am now receiving more than 50% of my visitor traffic from China. Welcome. The podcast is available in China through Apple Podcasts (Perspectives: Iran Past and Present). I submitted the podcast feed to China’s GetPodcast service. “Perspectives: Iran Past and Present” should be available through Chinese podcast distributors by November 2026.
Essays: I plan to post longer essays about once per month on a special topic; for example, I will be updating my September 2025 essay, “China’s Eyes, Iran’s Fist: PLA’s Satellites & IRGC’s ‘Kill Chain’,” which received thousands of views across media outlets. The short podcast version was also popular. An update to this article is essential because today we have volumes of data and satellite images from the Ramazan War on how Iran located and struck targets throughout the Persian Gulf region. Chinese satellites and electronic intelligence helped Iran to “obliterate” US bases in West Asia 謝謝. Thank you.
