Putin’s New Defense Minister

I have been unable to write due to other commitments. I wanted to include a quick update about Putin’s appointment of economist Andrey Belousov as Russia’s new defense chief, a move that has stumped western “experts.” In brief, Belousov’s task will be to streamline the defense procurement process and manage costs. Russia’s military-industrial complex, already in high gear, is going to become much bigger and more efficient. I recommend a superb analysis, “Putin’s Cabinet Shakeup Stumps Western Intelligentsia.”

In other Ukraine-Russia news, the war is going swimmingly for the U.S.-backed regime in Kiev, with the good guys thumping the bad guys. America’s “Cordel Hull,” a/k/a Little Blinkie, is in Kiev to meet Ukraine’s “Churchill.”
