New unnamed IRGC loitering munitions (‘kamikaze’ or ‘suicide’ drone). It is very similar to the Russian Lancet-3M drone, which is used as a surface-to-surface weapon, i.e., launched from sea or ground. It ‘loiters’ while waiting for targeting information. Lancet-3M has been used against fortifications, trenches, buildings, and vehicles—including T-72 tanks.
Lancet-3M has two x-shaped wings that can be folded in transport. Maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) is 12 kg. It is launched from a rail-mounted catapult system. Range is 40 km, with a dive speed of 300 kmph. Warhead is 6 kg, packed with HE or HE-fragmentation. The IRGC model uses an electric motor, just like the Russian model.
