This is an example of the ongoing ‘competency crisis,’ where credentialed ex-military officers and ‘experts’ at think-tanks supply US/UK governments with analyses that lead to cockeyed policies. My ‘Boiling Frog’ Thesis Mentioned at U.N. Security Council
